Whether she's up close and personal with Keely Hazell, directing lingerie clad beauties for Agent Provocateur or in Hef's den alongside his favourite bunny, photographer Alice Hawkins' work is regarded as up there with the best in the industry. Her career was given a boost in 2002 when i-D magazine spotted her at a college art show and quickly snapped her up as their party photographer. Since then, and at only 29-years-old, she's shot big brand campaigns for the likes of Topshop and editorial for the likes of i-D, Harpers, Arena and more. She has a unique respect for her subjects and minus the GGs has been likened to Dolly Parton with her bleached candy-floss hair, gold-ladened fingers and hooker acrylics. "I suppose my image is about fitting in with my subjects, but it's also how I want to look," she explains. "I often want to look like the people I shoot. It's my way of showing my appreciation of them." Right on Alice! More at alicehawkins.com.
