Los Angeles-born, New York-based photographer Olivia Malone completed her Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography back in 2004 at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Since then she's travelled back and forth across America and elsewhere, photographing youthful delights for advertising, fashion editorials and her own pleasure. She usually photographs people that are in her life, rather than seeking out particular models, giving her work a real authenticity and showing a tender approach to her subjects. Her main focus is, evidently, youth and that strange period between innocence and adulthood, "the period where freedom and
independence define the essence of youth's unabashed allure". Sublime.
