Nienke Klunder is a woman of many faces. Many, many faces. She's like one of those dodecahedron dice that you see D&D players using, covered in their mum's egg and lettuce sandwiches and soaked in teenage angst. And most of the times, she's about that attractive.
Making a point about how the way women present themselves alters the way that we perceive them, Klunder's Community series proves that she can be anyone she wants to be. It just takes the right hair and bottle of fake tan. There's the Disney tourist with her Nikon and sunburn, the over-zealous art gallery attendant with lip-liner that extends to her earlobes, and the palm reader with hair as high as the '70s and breasts sagging like she's in her 70s.
Shot over a period of two years, Klunder must have a seriously patient makeup artist, and a saintly wig maker. Yet the question remains: who is the real Nienke Klunder?
