Dimitri introduced us to Nic Fensom quite a while ago, but since then he's added a few images to his site and we thought his raw and real shots were worthy of a gallery. His images focus mainly on kids and skate culture in New York (although there's definitely a couple of non-New Yorkers like Lady Sovereign) and while they're very candid, they are still composed and timed perfectly. His shots have been described as having an undertone that's reminiscent of Kids and he's had his artworks featured in Mass Appeal and i-D. More at soyourstyle.com.

Are you kidding? Lady Sovereign's poo tastes like candy floss. Mmmm.... On a serious note though, I felt compelled enough to register and write this. I love photography. I admire the photographer's eye to capture...erm, shit. Cool shit. And make it look good. But I honestly don't see why this guy was worth hosting a selection of his work. I don't see anything original within this lot. Turning photos upsidedown - was that an error when uploading them or was he trying to "push the envelope". As far as I can tell, all this guy's got is an expensive camera. That said, the one of the skateboarder up against the wall (don't the official skate term for it - clearly didn't play Tony Hawk enough. Either that or i'm just not too-cool-for-school) is pretty good...

i agree with mattownsley, these are just nice photos taken with a expensive camera. i felt more moved by polaroids .
