Photographer Mat Szwajkos completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2001 and began covering events where celebrities were in abundance. Instead of always creating super glossy and sleek images of the famed ones, Szwajkos has a series called Up Close. It's pretty self-explanatory, but the results are a lot more interesting than you might have imagined. The Golden Girls, Amanda Lepore, Mos Def, and an odd looking Jenna Jameson all feature.
