There is something vaguely disturbing about Laura Makabresku's photography. Although it is quite beautiful and sometimes very sweet, there's a sadness that permeates her work. Photography like this often polarizes people (it's too dramatic! It's simple and beautiful!) but you can't deny that they're evocative. More at lauramakabresku.tumblr.com.
