Johnny Stiletto (not his real name, but wish it was) took street photography in London during the '80s. Lucky for him it was a particularly interesting time for the city– fashions were rapidly changing, politics were dividing the country and well, John Lennon was shot dead an everyone was quite sad about it. Margaret Thatcher's decline in popularity, a failing economy and a time when smoking inside was cool are all captured by Stiletto, as is the odd and random street moments that make this kind of photography so great. We still can't figure out why that lady is getting naked in the middle of the street however.
