Donna De Cesare is a NY native who made a name for herself by her extensive and ground breaking coverage of the spread of LA gang culture to Central America in the 90s. She is regarded as an expert on the issues of youth identity and gang violence and has won many an accolade for her documentary photography of Latin America. Her work's been published in countless highly regarded news publications including heavyweights such as The New York Times and Life magazine and her exhibitions have traveled around the world. Mad respect all round. Check some samples of her amazing photographs below and for more information please visit Donna De Cesare.
