Future Music Festival Mebourne 2009

It’s difficult to convey the level of awesomeness achieved by FMF Melbourne on Sunday, as it truly was a kick-arse event.

For starters the killer line-up was flawless. Smashing out a constant stream of tunes were CSS, Basement Jaxx and N*E*R*D, along with every artist present, keeping the crowd amped all day long. The Silent Disco is a fascinating concept and, in reality, is a wild experience as well as being pretty hilarious without your headphones on. In other futuristic fun times, everyone who partook in the Foam Party was moist and, well, foamy which seemed to be a total blast.

The Future Music First Class marquee was double story and quadruple cool, this being the place where all the beautifulest guys and girls hung out and it radiated its very own aura across Flemington Racecourse.

Props to Future Entertainment for bringing it to the people and making certain all festival-goers had a smashing time.

Hmmmm some of those 'beautiful' people really shouldn't have been allowed into the marquee...they have trash stamped all over them

I love those silent discos where everyone wears headphones. I'd love to walk through one and mime like there was a fire or something.

i find those silent discos the shitest thing at a festival! book a heaps more rad artists and put a stage there! though i find it funny that they have the cheap shit headphones now, not the rad vintage looking one's that bucket loads of people stole and JJJ had to try a voluntary hand in to get them back.
