Double exposure photography with Andrew Volk

Double exposure = double happiness.

Both Andrew Volk and his photography seem to be in two minds. His subjects are harsh, but his method is soft. He makes drugged out ravers look like they're caught in a beautiful lucid dream. Using an analogue camera and some insightful scenes, he quite literally is able to put people's heads in the clouds. I've found it very difficult to find any information on the man - I can't even recall when I first saw his work. It is almost as if viewing the below gallery wipes your mind clean. There is something simultaneously comforting and creepy in his photography, like a cuddle from a yeti.

He also may be a little schizophrenic. To see his 'serious' photography website, click andrew-volk.com. However, if you have five minutes to spare, andrewandrewandrew.com seems to reflect his split-minded work via HTML. Don't get lost.

Nice images. Andrew also had a finger in this here video pie for Palms. It's a nice track that reminds me a little of Fabulous Diamonds.
