When Deborah Feingold was growing up, she desperately wanted to become an actress. It's a good thing this career aspiration didn't work out, because this Rhode Island native went on to photograph some of the biggest musical stars of the 1980s, with her work being featured in Rolling Stone, The New York Times and Time magazine. From Madonna in 1982, to Tina Turner, Eurythmics and Peter Gabriel, if they were doing the running man on MTV, Feingold snapped them. She also had a knack for picking rising stars– watch out for a very young and relaxed looking Prince, and (even though he's not a musician we had to put it in) Bill Gates reclining on a massive '80s computer. Rad.
