German photographer Carsten Witte takes photos of ethereal beauties and then distorts and morphs them. The results are beautiful mutations; moody and cinematic and entirely other-worldly. After working for an advertising agency, Witte began working as an assistant to S Kercher – a still life photographer whose influence still seems to permeate Witte's work.
