Capturing weird moments with photographer Tod Seelie

There are people that are always unfortunate enough to be caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. For an example, wearing a hoodie and being Brazilian on the London tube, or donning a target tee-shirt around Dick Cheney. Some people are at the right place at the wrong time. Or there are the people that are at the wrong place at the right time. Tod Seelie is lucky enough to be one of those people.*

Seelie seems to always be around when the cool stuff happens: when someone in a full Bugs Bunny body suit gets mauled by dogs, when he walks in on a naked yoga session, or when he happens upon a mud-wrestling tournament. Like any true photographer, he also always has his camera on hand so that these weird and wonderful titbits of daily life (no really, there are quite a few tits) can be shared with a somewhat baffled audience.

His work has appeared in all of the big names: Rolling Stone, The NY Times, New York Magazine, Spin, Vice and i-D to name a humble few. Looks like we have to start working on our timing.

*Yes, I recognise that there are people that are at the right place at the right time, but who likes those people, anyways?
