You've probably seen Jean Paul Goude's images without even realising it. The French photographer, graphic designer and illustrator is responsible for those pictures of Grace Jones, the crazy album covers that stick in everyone's minds and continue to be just as original and bizarre now as they were in the '80s. Jones was Goude's muse, they danced in Studio 54, he directed her music videos and they even had a child together.
However, the photographer's fame continued long after their relationship ended, directing the infamous 1991 Chanel advertisement of a young Vanessa Paradis in a cage and taking bizarre portraits of New York's Latin American population.
