Ed Wray is a serious photographer; you name an important world event and chances are he was there shooting it. His portfolio is full of significant, historical moments: Pakistan in the aftermath of Bhutto's assassination, Bangkok protests, Nepal elections, Padang earthquakes, unrest in East Timor... One of Wray's many notable series is the one named Aceh's Sharia Police – it's a fascinating look at enforcers of Sharia law; a force that has been marred by controversy in Indonesia's Aceh region. Be warned that there are a couple of gnarly images attached here, and plenty more at Wray's website. Very worth it though. More at ed-wray.com.
