Based in New York City for much on the 90s, Italian-born Alessandro Zuek Simonetti took photos of people that belonged to the city. Photographing and finding interest in everybody; the regular, the abnormal, the beautiful, the sad, the unfortunate, Simonetti also delved into subcultures including exclusive skate crews, Japanese rockabilly, and even an underground fetish group.
Simonetti is now a professor of photography at the Photography at The Institute of Arts in Padova, Italy.
