Come To Daddy. It was mad. Wild. Crazy. Ridiculous. All at the same time. In between mixing records, he would grab the mic and in a crazed sandpaper voice say stupid shit that would make you simultaneously laugh, dance even harder and like him if you didn’t already.
The best decision GLK (AKA William Bensussen) ever made was to flip the bird to his hometown of San Diego and move to LA. Now he runs with Flying Lotus and all those equally talented cats, holds it down at the infamous Low End Theory night and makes mixes that tend to wander through Middle Eastern grooves, hip hop, dubstep and stuff that you’ve probably never heard.
