Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings will make you happy

Forever paying homage to 60s power soul, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings have released a completely retro, fuzzy, grainy, kind of Soul Train, very cute video for 'Tell Me'. There is even a trio of back-up singers in matching pink outfits.

You probably know the Dap Kings from their collaborations with the clever Mark Ronson, Ben Westbeech, and most famously Amy Winehouse, and from their general awesomeness. There really isn't much more to be said, except that Sharon Jones makes plenty of today's singers sound like pathetic, unwell pigeons. Plus, she dances like a little fox. Bam!

Sharon Jones is actually a superhero. Without a doubt one of the most powerful live performers around in my opinion. Dap Kings are super tight also.

Agreed Luke. Saw Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings at Golden Plains this year and they were amazing live! Sharon Jones is a little pocket rocket on stage! New albulm 100 days, 100 nights is great as well.

I've seen her preform twice now and i have to confidently say the BEST two gigs I've EVER been to. We all need more funk and soul in our life.
