Quite a few owners of the Beastie Boys'
Check Your Head collectors' vinyl set have discovered a bonus 7-inch record containing unreleased songs. But not every set has included the Golden Ticket record. And there's a bit of mystery surrounding the tracks.
While 'Lee Majors Come Again' has some instrumental that definitely sounds like early Beastie Boys there are a few hints that suggest the song is actually new. One is due to a clever investigator who says Yauch gives a shout-out to Mix Master Mike and his sneeze-guard. BUT dear readers, Mix Master Mike wasn't their DJ back in the days of
Check Your Head and has apparently only used the sneeze-guard since 2006. Another give-away is Yauch's super husky voice which has gotten more rusty and gravelly with age.
