The Lady Tigra used to be one-half of L'Trimm (whose sound influencedthe likes of Peaches and Gwen Stefani) and now writes songs aboutAmerica's first black First Lady, but our suspicions are that she's at her best when making songs that aren't about politics.
She bounces kind of dramatically from the bolshy, funny and smart rhymes in tracks like 'I'm Back' and 'Switchblade Kitty' to the twee 'First Black First Lady'. She's supported artists like Kanye West and Gnarls Barkley and her album
Please Mr Boombox had a bunch of tasty treats on it.
