Australian experimental indie-pop group,
Architecture in Helsinki, have just delivered a preview track from their upcoming album and it's a doosie. 'That Beep' is a cutesy, super hooky, Prince-ish disco delight. While anything Prince-inspired is usually fabulous, this catchy little ditty is also blessed by Kellie Sutherland's sometimes harsher vocals are extra syrupy sweet.
There's also already a remix by
Radioclit which features Marina (formerly of
Bonde do Role) which you can download at a
thatbeep.com which was built just for the promotion of AIH's new album.
Architecture in Helsinki are set for a bunch of live shows around Australia from New Year's Eve to February when they play the Laneway Festivals.
Prepare to have it stuck in your mind tank all day long.
