Pretty much every band that has ever existed has reformed, or is rumoured to reform very soon. Rage Against the Machine, the Smashing Pumpkins, Gang of Four, the Fugees, Take That, My Bloody Valentine. Even East 17 got in on the act, and made all my dreams come true.
The Kinks have been rumoured to reform for a while, and Ray Davies even confirmed it. But just days ago Dave Davies (Ray's brother and fellow bandmate) shot down the idea saying, "It would be like a remake of Night of the Living Dead". And fuelled apparently already serious sibling rivalry by saying "I wrote a song called 'Where Pigs Fly,' Ray wrote ten songs out of it... One of them was 'Hatred,' one was 'Lola' and the other eight were 'You Really Got Me'". Bitter much?
The Kinks reforming would be awesome. So who else do we want to reform? (Apart from Le Tigre, Bonde Do Role, Faith No More. And Girlfriend, obviously. That one goes without saying).
