Eve – almost as famous for being arrested, being a former stripper and being in a sex-tape as she is for her musical prowess – has just pitched us quite the curveball.

'Me-n-My', produced by hip hop heavyweight Salaam Remi (AKA the guy who produced a lot of Nas goodies) and over a beat created by UK-based dubstep fella Benga, is like nothing like Eve's previous pop, reggae-tinged releases. But a change is as good as a holiday. And this feels like a holiday.

Id call this being a lil lazy over a curveball. Shes just rapping over an older Benga track, trips i think. Same as when snoop just rapped over Eastern Jam (http://tinyurl.com/d2qy97). If they want to do something "fresh" and a new sound for them, at least get a producer to create something new. That said, i think it sounds pretty dope and will probably play it.
