biographies ever (including this part, our personal favourite:

According to sources close to the MC/DJ/producer, Edan is also in search of the perfect beat, and will go to lengths such as purchasing one record for $850 if it means being one step closer to it*. And in this vein, his forthcoming project due mid-November is
Echo Party, a 29-minute mix of music from Traffic Entertainment Group's back catalog of old school rap. But it’s not as straight up as that – this has taken Edan two years to perfect, and over that time things have been sliced, layered, embellished with weird alien noises as well as live instrumentation. Echo Party LPs will be pressed, with the cover art on each individual record sleeve lovingly created by Edan.
