Vampire Weekend have begun leaking tracks from their sophomore album
Contra which is due for release in January next year. Lead vocalist Ezra Koenig's unique brand of innocent oddness remains – "In December drinking horchata / I look psychotic in a balaclava". Heavens.
It's much of the same whimsical and sweet sounds from the New York-based quartet; complete with sweet background vocals and strings.
