IT'S BACK!! AGAIN!!! NOT SURE HOW MUCH FURTHER BACK IN HISTORY WE CAN GO!!!!
This week's Dance Party Mega Mixtape takes a giant leap back into the world of beehive haircuts, old school boy bands, groupies that scream till they pass out and good, clean, wholesome funtime music. Well, for our standards anyway. And although the majority of you Loungers were a mere twinkle in your old man's ballsack, respect must be paid to the tunes of the 60s as it was the birthplace of many a groove and helped carve the way for music as we know it today. From the lithe, gyrating frame of Mick Jagger to the undeniable soul of Aretha Franklin and Marvin Gaye, the '60s was a decade of awesomness in it's own right.
Next week - the '50s!!!
1. Rolling Stones - 'Satisfaction'
2. Aretha Franklin - 'Respect'
3. Marvin Gaye - 'Heard It Through The Grapevine'
4. The Beatles - 'Twist & Shout'
5. The Yardbirds - 'For Your Love'
