The Lake and Stars keep delivering; whether you're planning on wearing their retro-inspired lingerie or are just interested in ogling their lookbooks (it's OK, you're amongst friends here).
For their fall/winter 2010 collection, the design duo (Maayan Zilberman and Nikki Dekker) has created yet another fabulous range of unmentionables and styled them beautifully in their naughty but nice, vintage-tinged lookbook, which seems to channel that Bettie Page brand of soft porn – a little cheeky, but with a smothering of sweetness.
The contrast between racy and innocent is reflected in the actual garments; while a lot of the designs are on the demure side ('40s-style bras, silk shorties, camis and nightgowns), they are balanced by some saucy pieces like the bottom-less tights, suspenders and barely there knickers. The entire collection is made up of black, airy grey and accented by fire engine red.
