Staple wants to school you on American history. The streetwear brand has set its fall/winter 2012 collection in the classroom, also using "educational themes" as an influence in their designs.
The focus on American history comes from two eras, the 'Insurgent Era' and 'Native Era'. Apparently, these periods "embody all of our fascination with warfare: everything from civil wars, to world wars, to current day guerrilla warfare. And the “Native Era,” which is a tribute to the original caretakers of this land, the Native Americans, and the struggles that they’ve been through as well".
Maybe we need to brush up on our history.
