Yes, it may be a cheap shot, but locally loved label Wrangler has caught us once again with their infamously cheek-y campaign creative. It's not exactly hard to see why the latest summer 2011 collection for Australian shores is going to be such a hit: in short, it's just crazy hot.
The US label begun it all with the simple art of cotton-picking over one hundred years ago and grew into a name synonymous with farmer's overalls in the '40s and the iconic Western jeans in the '70s. A couple of years ago the company reinvented itself, leading to the increasing shit-hot factor that you'll see in the recent advertising. Arse shots aside, the rehaul seems to be working; the youth market has once again flocked to buy the overly comfy, classic and affordable goodness that is Wrangler.
This latest men's and women's collection doesn't break any boundaries. It's all tee-shirts and denim, and that's why we love them. The best thing about the denim is – once again – the hues and classic design. It's bold, blue, and clean, and avoids tacky bouts of bleached-ripped-fluro that other labels sometimes murder.
