Ruffeo Hearts Lil Snotty describe themselves as "anti-phashun" – designs that are sometimes super-cool-ugly and sometimes straight-up super-ugly. It's all clashing colours, kooky parachute material patchworks, 90s-vibed throwbacks, jackets with detachable necks, and seemingly Punky Brewster-inspired hoodies.
Even if you're not into their garments, you'll appreciate their (almost completely incomprehensible) descriptions. With winner lines like "Soul liftin' young 90s windbreaker material in the shoulder" and "Can be tricked out in many tasty arrangements: Kris Kross, behind head, to the side flat on chest, knotted. Has polka dots!!!" and, my personal favourite, "These days I find it harder and harder to use words in our descriptions because the photographs are yelling too many obscenities and the copy is basically muted".
Ugly couture is (apparently) on the move. We'll see.
