Crooks and Castles
The concept for Crooks and Castles apparently came pretty easily to its founders, growing up in LA during the 80s and 90s they were surrounded by gangs and  acquired a respect for the baddies. Villains in cartoons, movies and comic books were always their favourites and they named their label after those who manage to be the bad guy, and end up better off for it.

Concentrating on simple shapes and bold graphics (some you'll notice are "borrowed" from certain high-end brands to have a little dig at them) Crooks and Castles certainly doesn't pertain to be anything it isn't. They're all about easy to wear, fun, bright attire that might not completely blow your mind, but it won't blow your entire savings account either. They hate that.

Some pretty cool graphics. It's great to see another label that do what they do well, but don't take themselves too seriously.

"borrowed" .. haha .. and that's just in this collection .. you should see some of their earlier pieces .. ie .. "high society" .. "ruling elite" .. "medusa bandito" shirts .. but that's what you gotta love about this brand-- a familiar flip on the easily recognized.
