Mishka NYC is like that fool-proof chocolate pudding recipe handed down from your mum's mum's mum's mum. There are tweaks and little changes made according to the day or the season, but all up; it's pretty solid.
(So, how does everybody feel about that
analogy? Pretty shit? Yeah, us too. Sorry.)
The New York-based label travelled across the country to shoot the lookbook for its 2012 summer range which is modelled by a bunch of Bay Area hip hop types.
The attire is pretty much what we all expected; super-bright, cartoonish, a little retro-vibed and street-inspired. There are the staple eyeball motifs, some classic plaid button-ups and graphic tees, but what we're mostly enjoying this season is the Hawaiian shirt collection.
Q: How can you go wrong with palm trees, sailboats and hula girls?
A: You can't.
