Alexander McQueen's McQ label has released its spring/summer 2010 range. The late and great designer was apparently meant to reveal the punk-inspired collection during London Fashion Week, but cancelled the morning of
McQueen's tragic death.
Nonetheless, McQueen's label that aims to reference "the spirit of youth and sub-cultures... anarchy, rebellion and revolution" is again evidence of the designer's talents. It's a cleverly balanced range – tee-shirts and bomber jackets are contrasted with shiny, sleek suits and overcoats. The two-toned suit is dramatic and classic, and the yellow and red accents bring a playful tinge to the entire collection.
Long live McQueen.
