These guys may hail from Beverley Hills, but as their name suggests they are très Frenchy, très chic. The label Le Petit Petit creates clothes for girls who like to wear tutus, knee-high socks and love-heart glasses (or at least the girls who can pull them off) and their spring/summer collection delivers those things in spades.
Inspired by a rainy cityscape in Paris, the collection is all about femininity and simplicity – clean lines, long fluttering chiffon skirts and quirky slogan tees (which are influenced by “art and ice-cream”). The stand-out pieces are those that show a more adventurous side of Le Petit Petit, like the camel coloured leather cape. Likewise, their classic leather jackets and sci-fi looking icicle necklaces are also winners.
It may not be incredibly ground-breaking, but Le Petit Petit does offer cute pieces for similarly cute girls (especially for those long bike rides to laneway cafes).
