Remember when you were in primary school and you tied your jumper around your waist? Of course you do. It was both a practical wardrobe solution and an inherent statement on how cool you were. Now whilst we're all
very grown up and mature, label
Sophomore is bringing back the nostalgia with their latest Spring 2010 collection.
We're not all that sold on how revolutionary a pair of shorts and white tee-shirt can be, but the collection does bring in some more of the nicely dapper basics that the New York label has become known for. The collection is also accompanied by a short film featuring some of the designer's infinitely 'it' friends (the sort who not only wore jumpers around their waists when they were little, but refused to wear hats despite the stringent 'No Hat, No Play' policy). Watch out for Leslie Arfin, Donald Cumming of The Virgins, and artist Lucien Marc Smith.
