What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Unless perhaps you're Australian fashion label, Friend of Mine, in which case your beautiful/seedy campaign must be blasted across the interwebs. Shot in and around the Nevada Desert; the
Baby Blues campaign features everything kitsch and wonderfully Vegas: roadside motels, shotgun weddings, and snakeskin reworked into leather overalls.
There's also - what else - an Elvis impersonator, which FOM's young and fresh-faced model looks distinctly terrified to be near. (Can't say we blame her really.) The King doesn't have blue eyes but he does have an amazing white fringed suit with colourful baubles: a high fashion detail we heavily suggest the label takes note of for their next collection.
Styling features many vintage touches, thanks to the label's long-time label collaborator, 4th and Bleeker's Alexandra Spencer, who also turned her hand to a camera for this shoot. Her best shots include more leather than is possibly imaginable, including a pair of cream trackpants. Let's for a minute ignore the logistical problems with leather athletics wear and focus on something else: FUCKING AWESOME. As is that sheer white dress brought to you via a steamy shower scene.
