New York label Bess has released what looks like a fairly dark collection for its autumn/winter drop but after taking a closer look, it might not seem as future-goth as you immediately thought. Sure, the guy in the lookbook seems as though he's a step away from collecting amethysts, strands of hair and casting spells in the moonlight, but nowhere in the collection is there an moon-embroidered, bottle green, velveteen cape. Although there are a few pentagrams.
All together Bess attire could be a little much for some – there are a lot of studs, zippers, leather and fishnets – although there are a few treats in the collection. We like the ladies' studded boots, cropped tie-dye top and the men's studded blazer.
