Food. You'd have to be a crazy (and possibly quite ravenous) person not to love it. And by cuh-razy, we mean Kate Moss that time she said: "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels". Obviously she's never eaten cheesy mashed potato.
Clay, on the other hand? Not so delicious. Up there with glue, dirt, and raw flour in the taste department. Unless, perhaps, you're serving up
EatMeDo. Born from the saying "if it looks too good to eat", this new Melbourne jewellery label makes clay creations that Matt Preston would trade a pink cravat for.
Fresh outta Uni and a lover of all things deliciously stylish, creator Lara Betty's label snowballed from a random idea and turned into a business. Basically, if it can dangle on a necklace chain, she's molded its likeness from clay: sausages, green peas, peanuts, and hot chips with tommy sauce.
While we reckon the popcorn beads are her masterpiece flambé, Betty has a harder time playing Sophie's Choice: "each has their own quirks and qualities", she says. (Right now she'd save the glace cherry and whipped cream necklace.) Stay tuned for servings of spaghetti and meatballs.
