Christian Joy creates super crazy, super fabulous costumes (above) for the super excellent Karen O (front-woman of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and one of the coolest ladies in music). Now, after praise and much media attention for her costume designs, Joy is unveiling her first collection.
Compared with her costume designs, Joy's ready-to-wear collection is pretty demure – monochromatic in mostly blacks and whites, sometimes with a cheeky flash of red. Check out some of the designs in the gallery, as well as some of Karen O's crazy rad stage costumes.
