We’re not usually one for sharing vintage fashion sites. This isn’t the result of editorial restraint, or some weirdly obscure moralistic boundary. It’s just because, well, we’re really just kind of… selfish. Everybody knows that the
more you divulge vintage fashion wholesalers, the
less likely you are to be that lucky somebody who snaps up a one-off, semi-couture lace pinafore that’s spent the last 75 years in some old lady’s glory box.
Austrian vintage site Bows & Bandits, however, is really too good not to share. The way we see it, we have an ethical journalistic obligation to tell you about it. You can award us our Walkley Award later – after you’re done sighing wistfully at their darling little photoshoots, haphazardly converting Euros to Australian dollars, and shaking your fists in the air vehemently at the arsehole who dared to buy that cosy fox fur jacket before you.
