Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream sounds good, looks OK

Sometimes BBC and Ice Cream get it right; bright fun boys' clothes that are a bit metro while remaining streety. Other times you have to wonder, are design duo Nigo and Pharrell a little bit on crack?

This season is much of the same from BBC and Ice Cream; colourful hoodies, crews, tees, jackets and cardis with low-rise jeans, all jazzed up with some cartoon graphics which sometimes work and sometimes don't. The cutesy outer-space theme is a treat on lots of crewnecks and tees, but falls a bit flat with some of the jeans and jackets. The embellished denim jacket is a particularly naughty offender. Pharrell and Nigo model the goodies and work it like proper models; looking attractively bored out of their minds.

I dunno, the military stuff might well get you beaten up, but that's only so the gang bangers at the train station could mix and match authentic BBC with their cheap knock offs.

I love that their slogan is "Wealth is of the heart and mind and not the pocket." Who are they kidding? Granted their runs are reasonably limited but i've always found them to be way too over priced for what they are.

.. i'm all about the startrak sound .. the clothing line .. not so much .. but the selvedge denim and the tiger print camo parka (not jacket) are about all i'd be willing to get beaten up for ..*
