Band of Outsiders have always presented their collections in a kitsch and simple way by using candid Polaroids (in the past their models have included a very cute Michelle Williams and an unidentified person dressed as a Lego man) but this time they've outdone themselves. Don't
even get me started on how much appreciation I have for an old geezer in a
bow-tie.
This season's Holiday collection is modelled by photographer Paul Jasmin who is roguish, dapper and the very model of a modern gentleman, and photographed himself for the shoot at his home in Los Angeles. And then there are the clothes; silk dinner jackets, bow-ties, velvet three-piece suits, cashmere overcoats with fur collars, silk baseball jackets – it's old school charm and decadence. Fabulous.
Just try not loving it.
