If Melbourne label Arnsdorf was a real live lady, she’d be the sort who your grandma would approve of. She’d know how to keep her legs together in public, and wouldn't only drink to drunk. She’d probably volunteer at a suitably humanitarian op-shop on weekends. She’d play her cards with men like something lifted straight out of He’s Just Not That In To You
– albeit a fashionable, esoteric version not starring Drew Barrymore (sorry, Drew).
Basically, what we’re trying to say here, is that we think that Arnsdorf is one hell of a classy label. Since debuting in 2007, the label has become simultaneously renowned for demure femininity, relaxed androgyny, and amazing tailoring. The latest autumn/winter 2010 collection, No One Belongs In My Suitcase
– a mouthful of a collection inspired by cross-disiplinary artist Miranda July – is no exception. Our money is on the baby pink matching number. The plum lips set the whole thing off in to femme fatale territory.
