Haven’t you heard? Hospital chic is back, and it’s sicker than ever before. But before you go dusting off that skanky, naughty nurse outfit chilling in your closet (we know you have one), take a look at Ellery’s latest autumm/winter 2010 collection; A Tribute to Dr Strange.

Australian designer Kym Ellery has managed to successfully blend her signature sexy-luxe aesthetic with a whole bunch of medicinal jargon terms we never knew had a place in high-end fashion – like sciatic, cricoids, and sequestrum. Fashion editors everywhere will have a hard time spelling them, but they'll know that the resulting clothing includes some amazing structured leather pieces, ostrich feather detailing, and hand-sewn embellishments shaped like hearts and ribs.

This all aside, you don’t need a medical degree to know that skin-tight, thigh-high suspender boots are the cure for all of life’s ailments.
