What is The Twelfth Letter? If you're like us, then you may just have to quickly recall your ABCs. This unassumingly right-angled guy could stand for many a things, but for now we'll just conclude that it denotes a lovely, laid-back label for the lads and ladies that is a little left-of-centre (alliteration can sometimes be a bitch).
The friendly boys at Sydney's XII begun producing clothing back in 2007 under a label called Is Clothing. Today, this has morphed into
The Twelfth Letter: a unisex label that's both affordable and a bit different. The clothing is serene, relaxed, and clean-cut: the stuff of both overcast drizzly days and sunny spring picnics.
Speaking of picnics, photographer
Peter Cagnacci recently shot a capsule collection of images for the label up in NSW's God's Country: Mooney Mooney Creek. It's an area clearly confused as to whether it's lunar or cash-crazy, but nonetheless is scenery that gives for some spectacular snaps of kids looking whimsical in The Twelfth Letter's threads.
Local videographer
Michael Tyson also produced a video lookbook to the dreamy sounds of The Brian Jonestown Massacre. It's a little dreamy and makes us want to whip out the lace brocade, homemade scones, and straw hats for a weekend away in the middle of nowhere.
