There are heaps of different types of things that many would like to be ten deep in. For instance: thousand dollar bills, naked babes,
velveteen brogues by Opening Ceremony, and those collectible troll dolls with the pink puffy hair. But as for some seriously smooth fashion staples for men, including denim vests, easy tees and monogrammed caps? Well… according to men's label 10 Deep, you can never be deep enough in them.
The American streetwear label by New Yorker Scott Sasso has become renowned for these things. The past few labels have been verging on repetitive (hello, plaid shirts), but it appears the new lookbook for fall 2010 by
Ruthie Swanson may have started to reinvigorate things. The imagery is an exercise is solid skate, street and punk influences along with some beautifully captured photography.
Something a bit newer for the label is acid spotting detail on pants, jumpers and tees. Whilst we love the red dappled jumper, some of this – namely the khaki pants – comes off looking a little, ahem, ‘chav’. However, it’s made up for with some beautifully tinted denim matched with greys. Yummo!
We also love some of the logo detailing, especially the 'Broken Bone Club' pieces. It doesn’t sound like a very nice institution to join and we wouldn’t go there if we knew the way. Sure does look nice on a hooded jumper, however.
