In September this year, iconic US streetwear label OBEY and the Keith Haring Foundation will launch their collaboration that features a men's and women's clothing line. It's a no-brainer the two should join forces with both OBEY's Shepard Fairey and Keith Haring sharing the ability to take their art from the streets into the world of fine art galleries and exhibitions.
Drawing inspiration from time spent with Haring's collections, OBEY designer Mike Ternosky set about designing a line of clothing that not only translated Haring's work to a modern audience but also used the manufacturing and printing techniques Haring would have had available during the time of his '80s store The Pop Shop.
If you don't know Keith Haring's work, it's definitely worth checking out and chances are you've probably seen it somewhere and didn't even realise.
The OBEY x Keith Haring collection will be available in September at selected shops around the country.
