Lifelounge Magazine 14, The Gossip Edition cover preview

After a few weeks of not much sleep and a hell a lot of coffee we just send the latest edition of Lifelounge Magazine off to print. This edition's theme is Gossip and above is a cheeky preview of the latest cover design. It's a little different but I'm hoping it will stand out on the shelves. I thought I'd run through how this was put together.

I started off by cutting the Lifelounge logo at actual magazine size out of some cardboard to create the embossing for the foil.

Then I wrapped the cardboard in foil and pressed in the detail with a cotton bud being careful not to pierce or tear. One I was happy with the embossing I lit it and shot from above... Voila!

This is what the final cover spread ended up looking like once all the content details, barcode and back cover were sorted

And here's a few details up close... We'll keep you posted but hopefully the edition should be back from the printers by early next week... Very exciting!!! If anyone needs me I'll be at the bar.... or in a post-magazine stress induced coma ; )

Hey kirsch, the back issues will be available to purchase again next week some time. When we updated lifelounge.com earlier this year we temporarily shut the store but we'll be launching a new online shop solution next week when the mag drops.
