As a kid I used to marvel at the models in these shows and having recently “borrowed” some inspiration from his work for a design I thought it only fair that I let the rest of you know just how awesome his vision was.If you want to see more on the intenets, googles Gerry Anderson. Not sure what has happened but here is the first half of this post!! - Gerry Anderson is a British producer, director and writer famous for his futuristic television programmes. He is most famous for the Thunderbirds, but had many more great show like Space 1999 and UFO.

Sorry, but Thunderbirds used to piss me off as a kid. You'd wake up early, all excited to watch cartoons and all you got was a bunch of stringy puppets and wobbly space ships and shit for an hour before Duck Tales came on. Pfft.

I hate to admit it but I also hated the Thunderbirds and LOVED Ducktails! I also loved Galaxy Rangers - remember them?
