Massive egos, mentally disturbed characters, a boss you're convinced is slowly deadening himself with drugs: sound like your workplace? Well, that's the environment a young Neil Simon found himself in early in his career.
The experience led him to write what is arguably one of his finest plays: Laughter On The 23d Floor.
Whether you're a culture vulture or just in need of a very good laugh, make an effort to see the production of this very show, currently being put on by Leo9 Productions at the Polyglot Theatre in South Yarra.
It's a very tight, talented cast. The dialogue zips along and the gags fly thick and fast. How do I know? I'm in it.
